Highlights of 2024 at Affordable Cars!
We’ve had a great year, lots of happy customers, and an awesome time bringing in some pretty cool cars, getting them to a ‘as new’ standard and then selling them on the yard. Here are a few of our favourite highlights from the year. We hope to see you all follow us through 2025, and maybe even upgrade!
1. Our busiest month ever! August was our biggest month so far for our small team at Affordable Cars. With an increase in sales, the team worked extremely hard to keep every vehicle to our high standard, and deliver the cars to their new homes super efficiently.
2. Our biggest shipment ever arrived in October from Japan. We had 52 cars arrive over just a few days, and the process following this was a mammoth task to get them all complied to NZ standards and then prepared, ready for sale on the yard.
3. Our brand new website went live in April. A whole new look and feel to allow an easier browsing experience for our customers. We’re extremely happy with how it turned out that we can’t stop looking at it ourselves!
4. Nissan Notes and Volkswagen Golfs become our top two selling models of 2024. Two models that Cade LOVES to bid on, so no surprises there!
5. Sponsorship has been a big part of our year, and we’re so pleased that we were able to make a difference in these clubs/charities for 2024. We’ve donated & partnered with Touch Canterbury, the Hillmorton High School under 15s rugby team, the 2024 Canterbury Childrens Christmas Party and just recently sponsoring the three round series ‘Battle of the Sixes’ with the Canterbury V6 Wingless Sprints.
6. Inventory growth this year has really made us who we are! We’ve expanded our stock, with a variety of new and exciting makes/models, and expect to continue and grow this further in 2025!
7. Along with expanding our range of stock, we’ve also expanded our team! This year we welcomed 5 new team members, and with the goals in place for next year, we’re all pretty excited to see what we can achieve together.
8. Customer satisfaction this year has been hugely important to us! Our team are so involved in making sure the experience is one of a kind for all of our customers, and it’s really paid off. We’ve achieved a 4.7/5 star rating on Google and are sitting at a 4.8/5 star rating on Buyerscore!
